This is a very
nice, very original 1986 Chevy K5 Blazer. These
have really gotten popular the last few years.
These were the last of the
removable top Blazers. This is an excellent example of a K5
Blazer. This one
is the Top-of-the-Line Silverado. It has a very straight, 100% Rustfree California body.
It is only showing 97k on the odometer. It has a strong smooth
running 350 with a nice shifting overdrive automatic. The choke
sets good and she starts up good cold.
It has real nice
31x10.5x15 stock sized tires on the factory rally wheels. It drives
real nice. The brakes stop nice. The suspension is tight, and
the exhaust sounds nice.
As I mentioned it it has the
Silverado equipment, and is well optioned: 350,
overdrive A/T, A/C, Cruise, PW, PDL, factory class III hitch, 31
gal fuel tank, skid plates, sliding rear windows, limited slip rear axles,
etc. It also has the removable top painted body color, which is a nice
look.
It has clean
interior, with a new headliner. The cloth on the front bucket seats
has gotten dry and split from the California heat, but the seats sit fine
and the foam under the covers is fine. The rear seat is nice.
The carpet has some soiling from use but isn't torn.
It does have a nice
sounding old school Kenwood AM/FM cassette radio.
Overall, this is a nice clean, straight, no excuses "Survivor" K5. The
unmolested ones are getting tough to find. I wouldn't be afraid to
hop in and drive it cross country. |
