Very clean and
hard to find 1986
K5 Chevy Blazer
4x4, with Top-of-the-line Silverado trim. This K5 has a nice proud
stance. These were the last of the removable top Blazers. This
is an excellent example of a K5 Blazer.
It has its original Charcoal paint and rare black top on a 100% rustfree body that has
spent it's entire life in California. The body is very straight
with only a couple dents that I have pictured.. The paint is
original.
It has become impossible to find clean K5 Blazers, most have been beat
pretty hard. This is the first K5 I have had in over a year.
This one is a fully loaded "Silverado" with a 350 V8, nice shifting 700R4 overdrive
automatic, A/C, PW, PDL, tilt, posi rear axle, skid plates, quad front
shocks, class III receiver hitch, etc. It has like new Goodyear 31x10.5x15 tires on
factory rallies. It has nice
exhaust, shocks, and suspension. The interior is clean, only showing
minimal wear, and soiling for it's age. We installed a new
headliner, and put a dash carpet over the dash pad. This
Blazer is an excellent driver. The odometer on shows 77,314
miles on it, but I cant verify. The miles on the title are exempt
due to the age. Some of the mounting points for the front seats
got some cracks in the metal, which is very common on K5's. We
actually pulled the carpet and welded them from the inside. A
previous owner had welded the from the underside. If it is of
concern, the bottom side could be sanded smooth and painted or
undercoated. We just don't want to hide anything from our loyal
customers.
Overall, this is a nice clean no excuses "Survivor" K5. The only thing
that isn't stock is a nice sounding CD radio. I wouldn't be afraid to
hop in and drive it cross country. These K5 Blazers in original
survivor condition have become virtually impossible to find. If you
have been waiting for me to get another, don't hesitate. Who knows
when or if the next one will come along for us. |
