This is a Rare, and Desirable
1987 Chevy Silverado Short Bed 4x4. What makes the 87's so rare, and
desirable is the fact that it is the only year that GM offered fuel
injection in this classics body style pickup. You get all the
convenience of a new truck, in the classic older body. This one is
hands down the nicest 87 SWB 4x4 I have ever had. It has a very straight body and is 100%
rustfree from Oregon. This truck is very original, and belonged to
a fireman who took impeccable care of it. He was the second owner.
It only has 132k actual miles on it. This short bed Silverado
features a strong fuel injected 350, and a nice shifting overdrive
automatic. It also has: A/C, PS, PDB, Tilt, Cruise, PW, duel fuel
tanks, class III tow hitch, etc. It also has the factory
quad front shocks, and tow hooks. It also still has the factory
premium stereo that works .
The interior is almost perfect
only showing minimal wear, and never been smoked in. The headliner
isn't sagging, the dash pad is nice, as are the seat and carpet.
This truck has
never been cut, lifted, or off-roaded. Even the inside of the bed
is like new and had had a bed liner in it since new. This is an
excellent running and driving truck. I have personally used the
4x4 system. The suspension is tight. The brakes, and shocks
are all good also. It even still has stock exhaust on it,
and the original spare tire. It has very nice 32x10.5x15 BFG tires
on factory 8" wheels. I would hop in and drive this truck
anywhere. I don't have to make any excuses for for this Silverado.
It even comes with the original manuals and documents from the dealer.
They just don't get much nicer for an original type truck. |
