Desirable and
hard to find
1988 Chevy 1 ton, crew cab dually 4x4, with Top-of-the-line Silverado
trim. This truck only has 115k
miles on it and is 100%
Rustfree from California.
This truck is a fully loaded Silverado. Options
include: a strong Fuel Injected 454, HD TH 400 automatic,
3+3 seating, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, A/C, Cruise, Tilt,
dual tanks, class III Tow Package, 3.73 gears, etc. It also has a
brand new B & W flip over ball goose neck installed at a cost of $1500. These 1 tons, also feature the big Dana 60 front
axles, the HD 205 gear driven transfer cases, and the big corporate 14
bolt rear ends. These were the original and only true "HD's".
You have to work real hard to hurt the drive-train under these 1 tons.
The interior features new black carpet and headliner.
The seats sit fine, but the material is getting dried out from the sun
and heat of California. The body is very straight, other than a
dent in the front of the passengers side fender. The bed floor,
and bed rails are near perfect. This hasn't been a beat work
truck. As mentioned it is 100%
rustfree, period. All the red paint is still original. When
it was new, the dealer added the gold. The tires are 235/85/16 BFG
All-Terrains with over 75% tread, on chrome factory style wheels.
The brakes, and suspension are nice and tight. It also has a nice big
throaty 3" exhaust, with a FlowMaster muffler.
This truck is
strong, drives excellent, and is ready to go to work. Plus with
the combination of 3.73 gears, and the taller 235/85/16 tires she
runs down the highway nice. This truck really drives like new. |
