1989
K5 Chevy Blazer
4x4, with Top-of-the-line Silverado trim. These were the last of the removable top Blazers. This
isn't the nicest K5 I have had, but they are getting tough for me to
find.
It has its original two tone blue paint on a rustfree body that has
spent it's entire life in California.
This one is fully loaded: fuel injected 350, 700R4 overdrive
automatic, A/C, PW, PDL, tilt, cruise, power rear window, posi rear,
class III receiver hitch, etc. It has nice 31x10.5x15 BFG's on
alloy wheels. It also has a new Sony CD player, and a new
headliner.
These late 80's
Blazers had an issue with the floors flexing under the seats and
cracking. This one had that, so we welded up the cracks and put
some seem sealer and undercoating on the floors. It also has a
noise in the engine. I have put several miles on it and it hasn't
gotten any worse. It has good oil pressure and runs cool, so it
isn't a bearing issue.
I've priced it $2000 less than I would have it it didn't have the
mentioned issues. Non-the-less it is still a nice driver with a
lot of potential.
