Clean unabused 1995 Chevy K2500 3/4
ton Suburban, with the top-of-the-line Silverado "LT" trim. These
K2500 Suburbans are very capable heavy duty tow rigs. As the
Square bodies dry up these have become very popular. The 3/4 ton
versions like this are tough to find. The k1500 1/2 tons are much
more prevalent. It features a straight original paint 100%
rustfree body from California. As mentioned this is a fully loaded
Silverado featuring the desirable fuel injected 454, nice shifting HD
4L80E overdrive automatic, cold front & rear A/C, ABS, PW, PDL, tilt,
cruise, rear defroster, overhead & floor consoles, nice sounding
CD/Cassette stereo, class III trailer hitch, Etc. It has 4.10
gears with a limited slip rear axle. It also has the preferred floor shift 4x4.
It has beautiful factory alloy wheels, with
nice correct 245x75x16 Michelin A/T tires. Mechanically, the
brakes are nice, the suspension is tight, and the exhaust is sound.
This suburban has a a few performance upgrades including Doug Thorley
headers and stainless exhaust with a FlowMaster muffler. It
has leather interior, with bucket seats up front and two rear bench seats. It sits a
total of 8 passengers. The interior is very clean. The carpet,
being a light color shows minor soiling, but is nice. It also
comes with full aftermarket floor mats front to back. Believe it
or not the odometer says it has 227k miles. Actually, that is the
typical mileage for vehicles this vintage from California. They do
drive their vehicles out west. However, with the constant 60's -
90's temperature range in California their vehicles don't take the
beating ours do from cold winter starts, to the beating of pot hole
ridden roads. Don't let the miles scare you. These 3/4 tons
Suburbans are hard to find.
Overall this is a nice running,
looking, and driving heavy duty 4x4 Suburban, that is ready to be put into
service. This one sure beats paying $80,000.00 for a new one.
I wouldn't be afraid to hop in and drive it cross country. |
