Very Rare short bed dually.
GM only made a very limited number of these. It has only had 2 owners.
This one is a 1999 Chevy
1 ton crew cab
dually 4x4, with only 153k miles. It is a true 1 ton K3500 model with a
strong Vortec 454, and the heavy duty 4L80E overdrive automatic.
It still has it's original paint on a pretty straight 100% rustfree body
from California. It is a fully loaded Silverado heavy duty 4x4.
As mentioned it has the fuel injected 454, overdrive automatic, cold
A/C, PW. PDL, PS, PDB, manual floor mounted 4x4, front tow hooks, skid
plates, class III receiver hitch with a Prodigy electronic trailer brake
controller, etc. It has 4 wheel ABS as well. The tires are
nice, stock sized 245/75/16's on alloy wheels. This heavy duty 4x4
runs, shifts, and drives perfect. The suspension is tight.
The brakes are excellent. The exhaust are all sound. Finally
it has 4.10 gears with a limited slip rear. Those are the perfect
gears with an overdrive. To further document that the short bed is
factory. The wheelbase on this truck is listed on the option list
as 155.5" vs. a long bed of 168.5". 13" shorter.
As mentioned it is 100% rustfree
and still has it's original paint. But as GM paint did back in
that era, some of it is coming off on the bed. I has a few other
bumps and bruises, but hasn't been a beat work truck. The inside
of the bed is also straight.
The interior is very clean, and
features 60/40 seat with power drivers seat, and fold down armrest.
So it is comfortable, but still allows for 6 passenger seating. It also has a nice sounding factory CD
and cassette system. It also has a drivers airbag, and
keyless entry.
Overall, this is an awesome, no excuses, heavy duty, fully loaded 1
ton 4x4
that hasn't been abused or used as a work truck.
This 4x4 is ultra rare and a one of a kind find for the right buyer, and sure beats paying $70,000.00
plus for a new one.
I wouldn't be afraid to put 10,000 pound behind her, and head cross country. |
