1973 Ford F250 Heavy duty "Camper
Special" package.
This truck is 100% rustfree From California. It has very nice red
paint on a very straight 100% rustfree body. This truck looks to have
gone through a cosmetic restoration. The engine is 460, with a
Edelbrock Intake and Holley 4 barrel carb. The engine looks reasonably
fresh, but has a hole from a rod in the oil pan. The transmission is a
very clean C6. The tires look new. The dual exhaust also nice.
The interior is nice, with newer, factory correct carpet, nice door panels,
and a nice dash pad. The vinyl seat is nice under the slip on cover.
Other options include: power steering, heavy duty 4 piston disc brakes,
working dual fuel tanks, and factory bed side tool box.
Back to the body. This is one of
the straightest older Fords I have ever owned. Even the inside of the
bed, and upper bed rails are straight. With an engine this would be an
excellent heavy duty classic truck,
or put the body on your rotted out 4x4.
The engine turns over and still has coolant so the block may be fine.
Any way you slice it, this is a lot
of truck for the money. An engine is all this truck really needs.
