1977 Ford F250 4x4. It features all
of it's original paint on a 99.9% rustfree body from central California.
This is a factory black truck with black interior. The less than
stellar original 351 was replaced with a
rebuilt 460, that has 40k miles on it. The 460 swap is
very common in these trucks and is a direct bolt in. It was done
correctly, even using correct truck exhaust manifolds, This 4x4 also has
the desirable 4 speed. The clutch works nice but the through-out
bearing is noisy. Other options include factory A/C, power steering,
the disc brakes, and dual fuel tanks. It also has the cool bedside
toolbox. It has 4.10 axles, with a limited slip "posi" rear. The
4x4 system works perfect through the bullet proof NP205 transfercase.
The tires are ok 305/70/16s on nice bullet hole Alloys. It also has
the factory 1 ton over load springs on the
rear. The interior is nice, uncut, and original. The seat is
even nice still, and sits nice and firm. The only thing not stock in
the interior, is a nice sounding AM/FM/Cassette radio.
I call it 99.9% rustfree because it has
some rust in the floors and one spot in the outer door skin of the drivers
door. Other than that is is nice and rustfree form central California.
The rest of the body has is battle scares, but isn't bad for being 45 years
old. The beauty of original paint is that you know exactly what you
are getting. If it was me, I would keep the body waxed and leave it
all original, and enjoy it.
It is hard to beat this combination of rustfree
original paint survivor 1977 F250 in black, with a 460, 4 speed, A/C, and
toolbox.
Don't let this one slip through your hands.
