This is a rare
unique 1978 Bronco. It has the Top-of-the-line XLT trim with a
factory 4 speed. It has a pretty straight body that is 100%
rustfree from the west coast. It has a strong smooth 351, with a
nice shifting 4 speed, and a smooth operating clutch. It is fully
loaded for 1978: A/C, PS, PDB, factory high back buckets, factory roll
bar, front and rear anti sway bars, etc. It also has a nice
sounding AM/FM CD radio, and a receiver style hitch. It has
factory Ford alloy wheels with nice 31x10.5x15 BFG's. You wont
find a nicer running and driving second generation Bronco.
The
interior is actually pretty nice as well. The front seats need to
be recovered, and the dash pad has some cracks. I have a nice
black dash I could sweeten the deal with. Other than that the
interior is nice. It also has the fancy doom light with the
reading lamps.
These
Broncos were the last of the heavy duty Broncos. This one
has the straight axle Dana 44 front, heavy duty NP205 transfer case,
NP435 4 speed, and a 9" rear with 3.50 gears. The suspension is tight, the
brakes stop nice, and it has nice sounding duals, but could use some new
tail pipes.
Overall
this is a clean, unmolested 4 speed Bronco XLT that is 100% rustfree.
