This is a
clean original 1978 Bronco 4x4. These Bronco's are getting very popular,
and consequently harder for me to track down. I find some beat one's out there, but the
clean survivors are far and few between.
This Bronco is 100% RUSTFREE from California, and only has 116,109 miles
on it. The body is basically straight with only a couple small
dents.
This is a fully
loaded Bronco, with every option I think you could get in 78. For
starters it has the Top-of-the-Line "Ranger XLT" trim package. It
also has a
rebuilt 400, C6 automatic, A/C, power steering, power disc
brakes, cruise, tilt, int. wipers, power rear window, bucket seats with
center console, posi rear w/3.50 gears, skid plates, roll bar, F & R
anti-sway bars, etc.
This Bronco is as
rustfree as the day it came of the assembly line. The interior is
in excellent condition for its age. The front and rear seats are
in very nice condition. It has a nice sounding am/fm cassette
radio. As you know, the driveline on these Broncos is the the
toughest Ford ever built for a Bronco, with a high pinion Dana 44 up front, and the
bullet proof 205 transfer case. The 400 engine runs strong and
smooth, and the C6 automatic shifts nice and firm. The only issue
I really notice mechanically is that the steering seems to have some
tight spots in it, but otherwise the Bronco drives nice.
Overall this is a
clean, solid, original, fully optioned Bronco, in a desirable color,
that only needs a good once over to be put into daily service.
