F250 4x4 with both the Explorer suspension package and Ranger trim package.
The Explorer package is primarily a heavy duty suspension package. It
adds a rear anti sway bar, heavier springs resulting in a higher 8100# GVW
rating, extra fluid coolers, a graphics package, and plaid cloth seat
inserts. The Ranger package adds styling and fancier trim. This
4x4 still features the original paint and graphics on a 99.9% rustfree body
from California. It is an absolutely excellent running and driving
4x4. It has a rebuilt 400 engine, with less than 20k miles. It
has a 4 speed with a new clutch that was also replaced at the same time as
the engine. Other options include power steering, power disc
brakes, limited slip 4.10 rear axle, dual fuel tanks, etc. Overall
this is a nice survivor. It has some dents, dings, scrapes, and
scratches, but it is still original so you know exactly what you are
getting. It does have a recessed goose neck hitch in the bed floor.
When I got it in the original tailgate was pretty beat up, so I switched it
for a better one that is also rustfree from California.
I have personally used this truck. I love how it drives and I would
drive it anyplace.
