1979 F150 4x4 Long Bed "Ranger" Trim
This is a unique and desirable 1979 F150. It has the hard to find 300 ci. 6 cylinder with a 4 speed manual. This truck has only had two adult owners. It is 99.9% Rustfree from the west coast. This truck features most of it's original black paint, but has some dents dings, scratches, and touch-ups. It's neat that it is a Ranger but has the 6 cylinder. The engine just had the head totally rebuilt and runs excellent. The clutch is smooth and the 4 speed shifts nice. It also has the HD cast iron 205 transfer case, and a Dana 44 front axle with manual hubs. Other options include: PS, PDB, Tilt, & factory locking hood.
The interior is nice for the age of the truck. The drive-train is tight and the 4x4 system works fine. The brakes are nice. The tires are real nice 31x10.5x15's on factory Ford alloy wheels.
This is a nice simple 4x4 that is ready to drive. This truck needs nothing to be put into service. I have personally driven this truck several miles, and absolutely love driving it.
