Very rare 1979 Ford F350 factory 1ton 4x4 Super Cab. SuperCab's are hard enough to find, but with the F350 1 ton
suspension it is virtually impossible to find. This is only the second F350 SuperCab I have had in the 20 years I have been selling rustfree western
4x4's. 1979 was the only year that Ford produced a SuperCab F350 4x4
in that body style. This truck has the correct high pinion Dana 60 in the front,
with a Dana 60 in the rear to match. It also has the NP 435 4 speed,
and the bullet proof 205 cast iron transfer case. This F350 is from
Oregon, and is solid, but not totally rustfree. I would call it 98%.
There is some surface rust with a couple pin holes up on the drip rails, and
in the corners of the doors. There are some bubbles in the cab corners
as well. I wish it was 100% rustfree, but it is getting hard even for
me to find 100% rustfree 4x4's anymore. The price would be 2k more if
it was 100% rustfree. These trucks are so rare and sought after, I
will buy them in any condition. None the less it is a nice solid
driver. It has a smooth strong 400. The 4 speed shifts nice, and
the clutch feels good. It has 4.10 axles, with a limited slip rear. The
tires are like new 33/12.5/16.5 all terrain radials with less than 5k on
them. The brakes, and the exhaust are nice. It also has a nice
sounding Kenwood AM/FM CD system. You could fly in and drive this truck
anywhere.
