This is a hard to find, and
desirable 1980 GMC Stepside 4x4. This is a
top-of-the-line "Sierra Classic" model. What makes the
1980 models so cool and desirable is the square head light front end.
This is a one year only design, and it only came on the top of the line
models from GMC and Chevy. Not all 1980 GM trucks got this neat
looking front end. This is a 100% rustfree California 4x4. I
has been repainted once, and it is just an ok paint job. It is a
well optioned model with factory tach, new 350, rebuilt TH350 automatic,
cruise, dual tanks, and A/C. It drives excellent with it's
new crate
350 in it and it's rebuilt TH350 automatic. The suspension is
tight, the exhaust is sound, and the brakes stop nice. The interior is
clean but showing it's age.
She doesn't need a thing to be a nice daily drive. I do have the
proper fiberglass camper shell to fit a stepside truck from this year if
interested. I would hop in and drive this truck anywhere. It
is a neat no excuses rare 4x4. |
